This weekend, millions of people came together nationwide and around the world to participate in the WOMEN’S MARCH. The march was a bold statement of solidarity and support for equality for ALL Americans, regardless of gender, race or sexual orientation. Miley led a group of Happy Hippies at the March and spoke on the main stage alongside Barbara Streisand, Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Demi Lovato, Kerry Washington, Tracy Ellis Ross, and so many other powerful women. Miley personally introduced Sarah Kate Ellis, President of GLAAD, highlighting their revolutionary work for the LGBTQ community.

It was a family affair on The Voice on Tuesday night when country legend Dolly Parton joined her goddaughter Miley Cyrus on stage to bless everything with a stunning rendition of her trademark 1973 hit song, “Jolene.”

The duo performed alongside the Pentatonix, who had previously collaborated with Dolly on an a cappella version of “Jolene” this September; Cyrus, as well, is no stranger to the beloved song, as she’s performed it solo on The Voice previously and multiple times live.

However, nothing could top the Queen of Country leading them all in a rousing rendition of her signature ballad, all while clad in bedazzled black leather. Dolly, we’re not worthy.

Watch the full performance in the clip above.

Miley Cyrus has stopped crying and started rallying people to take action in their communities.

“No more crying coming from me,” the singer said in a new Instagram video. “I am accepting and hopeful, inspired and smiling. As a reaction to this shocking election, Happy Hippie and I are launching our newest campaign, #HopefulHippies.”

The new initiative will encourage people to agitate for change at the local level. “I’m asking you to get involved in your own community and make a commitment to the issues you care about, whether it’s donating, volunteering, or showing your support,” Cyrus wrote in the video’s caption.

Many of us aren’t sure what to do after the election, but now more than ever it’s important for us to come together and take action to work for the America we want. That’s why we’re launching #HopefulHippies, and I’m asking you to get involved in your own community and make a commitment to the issues you care about, whether it’s donating, volunteering or showing your support! I’m starting off by pledging to education, and I’m excited Happy Hippie will now be supporting classroom projects and schools with DonorsChoose!! If you need ideas to get you started, check out HappyHippies.org to find local opportunities near you supporting the issues we care about. Share your pledge to take action in your community using #HopefulHippies. Can’t wait to see yours, I’ll be reposting some of my favorite ones! #strongertogether

“I’d like to start with the first pledge and say myself and Happy Hippie are putting education for young people at the very top of our list of priorities in honor, of course, of Hillary Clinton,” she said. In the caption, she clarified that she’d be partnering with DonorsChoose to support American schools.

Miley Cyrus treated teens from My Friend’s Place — a Los Angeles-area center that assists homeless youth — to a special day on The Voice set.

The excited group sported Happy Hippie T-shirts as they toured the backstage, took turns sitting in the famous red judge’s seats and watched a taping of the show. They also got a chance to sit down with the Season 11 coach to discuss the importance of music in their lives and the issues that they face as homeless teens.

“On The Voice I’ve heard so many people’s stories now,” says Cyrus in a clip shared exclusively with PEOPLE. “To be able to have the spotlight on people that don’t usually have the spotlight on them is why I’m here and why it’s really important for y’all to be here and to just see who’s on that stage.” Read the rest of this entry

Miley Cyrus loves Liam Hemsworth, but apparently not her engagement ring.
When the Voice coach stopped by Ellenon Thursday (Oct. 27), she admitted to Ellen DeGeneres that wearing a diamond ring makes her rather uncomfortable.

“This is really weird because this is, like, real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy,” Cyrus said. “They don’t look that good together because they kind of mix up so sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney Toon. And he’s kind of like, ‘What’s going on?’ and I am like, ‘This isn’t really my aesthetic, but I’ll wear it because you love me.’”

Since rekindling with Hemsworth late last year, Cyrus hasn’t talked much about her relationship, but she insisted that she is fully committed to him despite not wearing her ring sometimes. While things seem to be going swimmingly for the couple, she said she doesn’t really want to get married. If Miley does decide to walk down the aisle one day, we can imagine the amount of gummy bears and cotton candy that would be involved.
